Kit McQuiston is the Founding and Managing Partner for Aubrey Capital, a New York based real estate investment company, and the Managing Partner for Aubrey Advisors, a licensed real estate brokerage and consulting company. Mr. McQuiston oversees the real estate investment activity for Aubrey Capital and its affiliated companies, including acquisitions, sales, asset repositioning, leasing, financing and new development. Mr. McQuiston also sponsors hospitality investments as a Founding Partner of the Brooklyn Hotel Group. In addition, Mr. McQuiston is responsible for the real estate investment activities as a Principal of Wilfrid Aubrey, a family office multi-asset manager with expertise and an extensive track record in Special Situation investing.
Preceding the formation of Aubrey Capital, Mr. McQuiston was the Director of Equity Investments for Time Equities, Inc., a New York based real estate investment company that manages a portfolio of 27 million square feet of property. Prior to such time, Mr. McQuiston served as a Vice President in the Private Banking Division of Bankers Trust Company. Mr. McQuiston currently serves as an occasional guest lecturer on real estate investment and development at the New York University Graduate School of Business.
Mr. McQuiston participates as an active investor and advisor to early stage private companies through Aubrey Ventures and as a member of the New York Angels. He has also served as a judge for the last fifteen years for New York University’s Graduate Business School annual Business Plan Competition.
Mr. McQuiston received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A. in Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
